About Christopher Hall

Christopher Hall is a self-taught photographer who began his passion for capturing images at the age of twelve. Through his ten years and counting of experience, Hall has had a variety of his work featured, as well as been the recipient of awards including a Gold Key for the 2018 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. At the age of twenty-three, he is the author and photographer of three traditionally published photobooks through Fonthill Media and Arcadia Publishing and has work included in the Smithsonian National Archives. Christopher is a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Arts with a BFA in photography.

Christopher specializes in a variety of mediums and subject matter within his work. However, artistically, he gravitates towards neglected and unique urban environments that the public eye tends to look past. Abandoned structures, built underground networks and cityscapes are all strong interests of his. The goal of Christopher's work is to bring awareness to the historical significance of these places as well as showcase their architectural potential for a second or continued life.

In addition to photography, Christopher also sometimes dives into video work documenting abandoned spaces, doing event recaps, car, testimony, and wedding work. When it comes to photography or videography, Christopher is very well versed and is confidently able to provide professional, quality work to any of his clients.
